More Things To Do
Wimmer Wednesday. These then are a few of the things that we have accomplished. There are many more things, of course, that we must do. An abbey has been created with a congregation and with the privilege of exemption. We have grown in the spirit and in our own self-assurance. We have earned the good opinion of the people, and God has most generously granted us increase. Neither the bishops nor the civil authorities, nor the lay people, have impeded our progress. We have had a free hand in promoting and spreading our Order. Indeed, nearly all the bishops of this country have written me to ask that I establish monasteries and educational institutions in their dioceses.
