A New Address

Wimmer Wednesday. The government in Washington very recently permitted us to have our own post office on our monastery grounds so that now our address is simply “St. Vincent, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.” The large Pennsylvania Railroad Company likewise has lately given us, on our monastery property, a freight station on their railroad line so that we now need to go or drive only a few hundred feet when we travel by train or ship goods or haul shipments from the depot. This is a great material advantage for the monastery and especially for the seminary.
Thus, our monastery gains more and more in spiritual significance and outward importance.
